2. Revenge against Texas — Big 12 Championship

Over at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, home of the Cowboys, the Sooners and the Longhorns set to face off for all of the Big 12 marbles.

For Texas, it was for proof that the Red River Rivalry win wasn’t a fluke. For Oklahoma, it was proof that it was and that they deserved the final spot in the College Football Playoff. Of course, we all know that the Sooners pulled this one off and they got that No. 4 spot, set to face off against Alabama.

Kyler Murray once again shined as the Sooners claimed their fourth straight Big 12 title. He finished 25-of-34 passing for 379 yards and three touchdowns. None bigger than the third down throw to Grant Calcaterra for an 18-yard touchdown with two minutes left in the game.

The defense for the Sooners played well enough for them to pull away late and grab revenge for their only loss on the season.
