1. Kyler Murray’s Heisman win

For the second year in a row, the Heisman is headed back to Oklahoma. In 2017, it was Baker Mayfield who is now slinging the ball for the Cleveland Browns attempting to put that team back on the map. This year, it was two-sport stud Kyler Murray who was a big reason that Oklahoma was able to get that No. 4 spot in the final College Football Playoff.

His reaction to the award is shown below.

Murray finished 260-of-377 passing for 4,361 total yards and 42 touchdowns. He also had 1,478 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns that way as well.

Simply put, Murray made life harder for opposing defenses week in and week out, keeping his team in each and every game. He won the Heisman simply because of the fact that he really is the reason that the Sooners finished with one regular season loss and a hard fought playoff loss to Alabama.
