As many expected, former Texas A&M football quarterback Nick Starkel has hit the transfer portal. What are some possible landing spots for the Aggies QB?

Many were waiting for this to happen and it finally has. With Kellen Mond seemingly set as the starting QB for Texas A&M in the coming season and so many on the roster behind him, Nick Starkel has decided to transfer.

On his way out, Starkel left a heartfelt message for his teammates, coaches and fans. It’s an extremely classy gesture from a young man who has been nothing but class since he stepped foot on campus just a few seasons ago.

The message, shared by the quarterback on his social media accounts, revealed details of Starkel’s future plans:

Starkel will graduate at the end June. What does that mean? He will be transferring as a graduate, meaning he will be able to play immediately and will have two remaining years of eligibility. That is extremely enticing for a program as they have an immediate impact player who will be sticking around for two seasons. The question now is this: where will this pro-style quarterback end up?

One obvious caveat

Before we get into the top teams he would fit in for, let’s play devil’s advocate for just a second. Work with me here. What if Starkel chooses to transfer to Miami, making a reunion happen with a certain Tate Martell. How great would that be, for things to truly come full circle and for all of us to really see if Martell would beat out Starkel, to see if he really is a** my dude? Let me tell you right now, we would all enjoy that.

But seeing as these two could hardly coexist on the same roster, let’s talk probable transfer destinations for Nick Starkel:
