It’s hard to believe that Jerrion Ealy has just 14 offers, per 247Sports. The five-star running back from Mississippi is one of the most electrifying players in the class and he may just be the next star at the position at the college level.

Is Ole Miss in the running solely because it’s close to home? That’s a possibility, but he has a comfort level with the Rebels and Mississippi State, too.

However, this one may come down to the two programs who have been fighting for national titles for the past few years. Alabama and Clemson are in the fight for Ealy and the leader seems to be the Tigers, but the Crimson Tide are getting the final official visit on Feb. 1.

This has to be the top guy on Ole Miss’ board and the Rebels will get a shot to sway him with an official visit on Jan. 26.

Ealy stands 5-foot-10 and weighs in at 200 pounds and has just about every component you want from an every-down back. He’s listed as the No. 26 player in the nation and the third-best running back.
