4. Caleb Wilson is an absolute freak

When was the last time you saw this type of production from the tight end position? Caleb Wilson put the offense on his back for a portion of the year, catching 60 passes for 965 yards and four touchdowns which essentially doubled his total from the previous season in just about every category.

Wilson, a 6-foot-4, 235-pound tight end was a popular player for the Bruins because not only did he put up big numbers from the tight end position but he also transferred from rival USC.

The Bruins struck gold when they landed him in 2016 and he played right away as a freshman, catching 16 passes for 220 yards. He only got better from there and proved to be an absolute freak from the position, putting up video game-like numbers.

Wilson will be missed big-time as he decided to pass up a senior year in Los Angeles for the 2019 NFL Draft. The offense just got a little less effective and the next tight end up has arguably the tough job on the team — replacing Wilson.
