Zach Harrison is the top-ranked player headed to a Big Ten school according to 247 Sports, so that’s more than enough to give him the top spot in this ranking. Harrison measurable are very impressive for an incoming freshman, standing in at 6-foot-5, 236 pounds his senior season at Olentangy Orange High School, just outside of Columbus.

Watching Harrison on tape is just truly amazing. In his defensive end highlights, he demonstrates a fantastic, low-center of gravity and repeatedly bull-rushed opposing offensive tackles. Not only will he run through you, he can run around you as well, as he is clocked in running a 4.58, 40-yard dash. Once he gets his hands on opposing quarterbacks it is over, showing unusual hand strength being able to bring quarterbacks down with one hand, more than once on this tape.

That unusual hand strength may also explain why he had great success as a tight end too. His explosiveness as a receiver will serve him well as a defensive end at the college level, being able to get an extra step on sliding offensive tackles. All coaches love players who are two-way stars, it shows adaptability and versatility, and Zach Harrison has just that.
