The idea that Arizona remains No. 1 and doesn’t pull off a move seems unlikely at this point. With so many top-level defensive players, and the Cardinals needing help in a lot of places, moving down and still securing a playmaker makes the most sense.

For now, though, we can only mock picks to teams in their current order of the draft. With that being said, Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa might just have the most untapped potential of anyone in the draft.

The brother of current star Joey Bosa, Nick Bosa sat all but three games this year for the Buckeyes, opting to recover from an injury and prepare for his NFL future. In those games, the 6-foot-4, 263-pounder recorded four sacks, forced a fumble and scored a defensive touchdown, making six stops behind the line of scrimmage.

In his first two seasons in Columbus, Bosa tallied 23 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks, making over 60 total tackles. His presence would make an instant impact on the defensive front for the Cardinals – if they elect to remain atop the draft order.
