Deandre Baker. 31. player. 51. . CB. Georgia

When you are picking at the end of the first round, it’s obvious you have a plethora of talent on both offense and defense. That sums up the Los Angeles Rams, as this allows them to take the best available talent.

Georgia cornerback Deandre Baker could be long gone, but in this mock draft, the Rams land a steal to end the first round. Baker had 40 tackles and picked off two passes this past year for the Bulldogs.

As a junior, Baker had 44 tackles and three interceptions, finishing his career in Athens with 116 stops, including four behind the line of scrimmage and seven touchdowns. He also defended 23 passes and averaged almost 21 yards per interception return.

The Rams ranked 25th in the league in touchdown passes allowed and 14th in yards surrendered through the air. Baker gives them another quality corner to use in different formations.
