Alabama. Quinnen Williams. 3. player. 30. . DE

The New York Jets grabbed their offensive future last year with the selection of Sam Darnold to control the offense. Now, the Jets tabbed Alabama’s Quinnen Williams as the focal point on the other side of the ball.

Williams is regarded as quite possibly the best player in the draft, and getting him at No. 3 is another steal like with Darnold. The 6-foot-4, 289-pounder finished eighth in the Heisman voting this past year after making 19.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks.

He was a two-year regular alone the defensive line for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide, finishing with 10 sacks, 26 tackles for loss and 91 total stops. His ability to clog a hole and stop the run will be key in the NFL, but being able to get pressure on the quarterback will be where he makes his real money.
