. QB. Ohio State. Dwayne Haskins. 6. player. 31

After sitting on the sidelines as a backup to J.T. Barrett, Dwayne Haskins took advantage of being the starting quarterback at Ohio State with a breakout season. He finished third in the Heisman voting and was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year.

Haskins showed an incredible knack for the deep ball and the ability to be accurate on all other passes, completing 373 of 533 for 4,831 yards with 50 touchdowns and just eight interceptions. He finished with a 174.1 quarterback rating after completing 70 percent of his passes.

His career has gone very much on the same path as current Chicago Bear quarterback and former North Carolina standout Mitch Trubisky, as he started just one year for the Tar Heels before being selected second overall in 2017.

In being picked by New York, Haskins could have the chance to sit behind Eli Manning for a year and gain a better grasp of both the NFL game and the playbook. He’d also be gaining an incredible teacher if Manning was willing to accept the role.
