4. Daniel Jones –– Duke

Despite not playing for a notable football school, Daniel Jones out of Duke is slated to become a first-round draft selection come April.

In his three-year playing career as a Blue Devil, Jones combined for 69 total touchdowns –– 52 passing and 17 rushing.

He probably has the most prototypical NFL size for a quarterback in this year’s quarterback class, at 6-foot-5, 220 pounds.

Even though he is on the taller end of the quarterback spectrum, he still can run the ball effectively. On top of this, he completes 60 percent of his passes.

For a bigger guy, his footwork is also pretty sound and he usually doesn’t remain stagnant in the pocket. Rather, he is always on alert and keeps his feet moving.

For a longer quarterback, one would expect a much slower, toned down delivery. Instead, he throws the ball winding up quick and releasing the ball Iron Mike style.

The most enticing aspect of Jones’ game resides in his deep ball capability. His big body matches his big play potential as the ball floats through the air and flawlessly lands into the receiver’s hands.

There are a handful of teams with needs at quarterback in the top 10, so Jones could find himself in a position to start right away given his pro-caliber skills.

Upsides: Size, downfield accuracy, finesse, footwork

Downsides: Streaky from a touchdown pass perspective, production decreased as his accuracy went down
