Arkansas has lost its top receiver for the second straight year as La’Michael Pettway announced back in January that he would be leaving the program as a graduate transfer after catching 30 passes for 499 yards and four touchdowns.

On top of that, Jared Cornelius’ career is finally over after playing just nine games in his final two seasons with the Razorbacks. That leaves the Razorbacks with Michael Woods, Jordan Jones and Deon Stewart as the top-three remaining targets and none of them broke the 250-yard mark in 2018. That means fresh blood could compete for targets.

Four-star wide out Treylon Burks was the state of Arkansas’ top recruit in the 2019 class and he was essentially a lock to pick the Razorbacks from the get-go.

Burks is listed as the No. 103 overall prospect in the class and 16th-best receiver and his size is what sets him apart. He stands 6-foot-3 and weighs in at a bruising 225 pounds. He’s a load for opposing defensive backs and could come to campus in the fall ready to steal some targets from unproven guys.
