Oregon football finished strong with the No. 7 class nationally and secured the No. 2 prospect in the nation. Which future Ducks will see the field the most in 2019?

Bravo Mario Cristobal. After his first recruiting cycle, Cristobal finished up the 2019 class with the second best class compared to other coaches hired within the same time period behind only Jimbo Fisher of Texas A&M. This Oregon class also had the greatest class ranking nationally at No. 7 and was the highest ranked class since 2000 when 247Sports started the class ranking system. The Ducks also led the Pac 12 with the number one class in the conference and defeated the USC Trojans in the recruiting race for the first time possibly ever.

Oregon’s best recruiting classes came in 2004, 2010, and 2011 when they finished at No. 12. Their best recruiting came from 2010-2013 when they finished in the top-20 in all four years under now-UCLA Head Coach Chip Kelly. Those classes featured prominent Oregon playmakers Max Unger, Patrick Chung, “When The Game Stands Tall”‘s own Cameron Colvin, Josh Huff, Jake Fisher, “Black Mamba” De’Anthony Thomas, Arik Armstead, DeForest Buckner, Kyle Long, and Heisman Winner Marcus Mariota.

Cristobal surely delivered in his first recruiting class and used more aggressive tactics found in most SEC Schools in his recruiting to secure signatures from several key recruits. Could this approach from Oregon lead to a change in the way the Pac-12, as a whole, recruits? or Is Oregon’s reign of recruiting supremacy just beginning? Either way, Oregon brings in several guys in this class that will see time immediately. But of all 25 recruits in their class, which ones are the most impactful for 2019?
