All you have to do is look at the offer list of Ty Robinson and you’ll realize just what kind of talent this kid truly is. He held offers from the likes of USC, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Oregon, Notre Dame, Penn State, Stanford, Texas A&M and Washington, among others, showing just how widespread the desire to land him was.

The elite schools wanted Robinson, but the Gilbert, Ariz., native chose Nebraska and there’s a good chance the All-American could see the field immediately for Scott Frost.

Freedom Akinmoladun is gone but Ben Stille and Khalil Davis return as projected starters. The depth on the defensive line may have taken a slight hit, even though Robinson likely would have seen the field even if there was a host of linemen already on the roster.

Robinson stands 6-foot-5 and weighs in at 283 pounds and he’s ranked the No. 178 prospect in the class as well as the 12th-best strong-side defensive end, per 247Sports. Expect to see plenty of him in 2019 as the Cornhuskers try to improve that mediocre defense.
