Nebraska struck gold when it landed four-star running back Wandale Robinson. The nation’s No. 40 overall recruit and top all-purpose back from Frankfort, Ky., will find himself on the field immediately for the Cornhuskers, and there doesn’t seem to be much doubt of that.

Why? Early enrollees already have a leg up on the competition and Robinson is one of a handful to be on campus already and he could be the electric back the Cornhuskers need.

Sure, Maurice Washington is still on the team, but he could find himself in the midst of disciplinary measures which could keep him from the field. If that’s the case, Robinson could be the favorite to start for the Cornhuskers, especially with how elusive he is and you just can’t keep that talent on the bench for long.

The 5-9, 175-pound running back from Kentucky was looking like a lean to pick the home-state Wildcats, but he decided to choose the Cornhuskers which could ultimately be the best decision.

Robinson is one of the most exciting incoming players in the Big Ten in the 2019 class and he could be starting by the time the season starts.
