The 2019 NFL Draft wide receiver class has a cohort of names that can make an instant impact at the pro level. How do they rank against each other?

Wide receivers remain a hot commodity in the professional game. While they do not always fall in the top 10 draft picks annually, they are increasingly important because of the prevalence of a pass-heavy attack in the NFL.

This year’s wide receiver class stands out as one that is particularly fruitful –– many of the names were members of teams that had potent offenses.

In any case, some of the players that have declared for the draft have a high ceiling and the potential to be immediately impactful in the NFL.

Like any other position, there is a chance that these players regress in the transition from college to professional football. Take a player like Corey Coleman, the 15th overall selection of the 2016 draft, or Kevin White, the seventh overall selection of the 2015 draft, for example.

On a positive note, many of these wideouts benefitted from being in an offense with more-than-capable quarterbacks that were able to get them the ball –– giving them an opportunity to make plays as well.

With that being said, here is a list of the top 10 wide receiver prospects in this year’s NFL Draft.
