2019 NFL Draft: Top 10 defensive line prospects

The 2019 NFL Draft is absolutely loaded with defensive line talent. Which players look to have their name called on the first day of the draft?

This year’s NFL Draft is coming up quick so it is time to look at the top prospects. Last year’s draft was dominated by offense, particularly quarterbacks selected in the top 10. This year it is the defense’s turn to shine. Along the defensive line, there are some real stars that any NFL team would be happy to have.

The ten players in the following list all have potential to have their names called during the first day of the draft. Unfortunately for defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons from Mississippi State, he likely will not now. He was projected to be selected in the first round and was on our list until he tore his ACL recently while training for the draft. He will likely still be drafted just not in the first round.

Many of the players on this list are underclassmen but departed school early. All of them have the potential to be all-pros and be Pro Bowl caliber players. Let’s get to the top ten defensive linemen in the 2019 NFL Draft.
