This is one of those that so many people are going to scratch their head at and tell people that I have lost my mind, but bear with me here y’all. The assignment is bust-proof.

Is Hunter Renfrow a top-10 draft pick? No, he’s not. Is he going to be a bust in the NFL? No, he is actually going to surprise a lot of people. Let’s talk how and why, shall we?

First of all, Renfrow has been at Clemson for what has felt like forever. The walk on has been everything that team didn’t know they needed. He has found chemistry with DeShaun Watson, Kelly Bryant and now Trevor Lawrence. That kind of chemistry with multiple quarterbacks in a four year span is a pretty great thing for any NFL team to see, especially one who hasn’t settled down with a quarterback yet or may be changing things up in 2019.

Renfrow also reminds me of Julian Edelman. The Patriots wide out has burst out onto the scene as of late because of his ability to take hits and tack on more yards after the catch. That isn’t something you get from every guy that enters on draft boards and sometimes it’s something that develops later into careers. He already has it and that is going to make a team pretty lucky in 2019.
