Yeah, you’ve heard this name before. Nick Bosa’s older brother Joey was selected by the Chargers with the third overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He is just as explosive as his brother at the same position. He is favored to be the top pick for the 2019 Draft despite missing the majority of his junior season due to an injury to his core muscle in Week 3.

If you are favored as the top pick even though you missed an entire season, you must be doing something right. That is putting it mildly for Nick who has taken after Joey in a big way.

In his highlight tapes, Nick is up with his hands on the tackle’s pads not even a full second after the snap happens. In his three games in 2018, he had four sacks, six tackles for loss and 14 total tackles. That is pretty efficient for two games and a bit of a third.

In his last full season, he had 16 tackles for loss along with 8.5 sacks and 34 total tackles. He was well on his way to a big season in 2018, before the injury.

Bosa has earned a double-team from most opposing offenses as well as comparisons to big names like Khalil Mack and Aaron Donald. Somehow he wins those battles and opens up space for his teammates, despite being double teamed. Simply put, when healthy, Bosa has no shortcomings and will be an instant impact player in the league.
