Running Back and Fullback

Starting Running Back: Jashaun Corbin
Backup: Vernon JacksonCordarrian Richardson, Jacob Kibodi, Deneric Prince

With Trayveon Williams headed to the NFL, the Aggies have a little bit of a question mark at the running back position. That being said though, the starter for the Aggies is pretty clear. Mr. 100-yard kick off Jashaun Corbin, will be the starter without a question. His speed and ability to hit big holes has already been seen on the big stage and will be front and center in 2019.

He excelled when he got to see the field on those off plays where Trayveon Williams sat out for a bit. It’ll be even better for him in the coming season. However, his backup is unclear. There are many options, so at this point it will all come down to spring practice to settle the order of backup running backs in 2019.

Starting Fullback: Ben Miles
Backup: Javonte Kemp or Justin Mellbruch

Replacing Cullen Gillaspia will always and forever be an impossible task, not specifically at his position, but just as a member of the team in general. The 12th Man will be missed and the next player to don No. 12 has big shoes to fill. On that note though, now we have to fill the fullback position. It seems that right now Ben Miles is the logical fill in, but that again will have to wait until spring practice to be confirmed.
