1. Will he really stick with football?

NFL.com first brought this question up and it is an important one to consider: will Kyler Murray stick with football? He had the biggest question mark next to his name for quite a while after the Oakland A’s drafted him with the ninth overall selection of the 2018 MLB Draft. He got a pretty little signing bonus with that and many were sure that he was destined to play baseball.

After a couple of awkward interviews and quite a bit of confusion on the part of everyone involved, Kyler Murray declared for the NFL Draft, effectively shutting down his baseball future for the time being. However, the MLB seems to be shifting their rules around- saying that they would allow Murray to immediately sign an MLB contract if the A’s were to sway him back. How much money could that be? What are the A’s willing to give him?

This is the biggest concern for many NFL scouts, I believe. Will Kyler Murray stick with football or will he decide to play baseball after all? There are so many question marks with this kid it is not even funny and that in itself could cost him in terms of where he gets picked up in the draft.
