Penn State sure didn’t skimp on talented running backs in its 2019 class as the Nittany Lions are bringing in top-100 talent Devyn Ford and also IMG Academy star Noah Cain.

The difference between Ford and Cain, though, is that the latter will be an early enrollee and that means he already has a leg up on his fellow incoming freshman. He, too, is a top-100 recruit and you know anyone from IMG Academy has faced plenty of top-tier talent and is primed for the collegiate level. This kid is going to be a stud.

Cain is slightly thicker than Ford, standing 5-foot-10 and weighing in at 208 pounds but he has the elusiveness and vision that every head coach drools over. He also sheds would-be arm tackles with relative ease.

The four-star running back also has the ability to catch passes out of the backfield and shows flashes of Saquon Barkley on his highlight reel.

That’s music to Penn State fans’ ears as they would love to have another all-purpose back leading the way, especially with a new quarterback under center. Expect this kid to play meaningful snaps almost immediately.
