Texas A&M football recruited remarkably well in 2019 under Jimbo Fisher and 2020 promises to be just as good. Let’s talk top targets shall we?

Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies recruited well in 2019, garnering the No. 3 class in the nation according to ESPN. They trail only Alabama and Georgia, both teams they have to face in the 2019 season but that is a different conversation for a different day. The 2019 class had 25 players sign letters of intent — including eight early enrollees.

Now, the Aggies 2020 class sits as No. 3 in the SEC and No. 7 in the nation with seven hard commitments. The class will of course grow, but here are five guys that Fisher and company are really targeting for the upcoming recruiting cycle.

Texas A&M has quite a few junior wideouts and a sophomore in Jalen Preston. When those guys make their way to the NFL, and don’t think that won’t happen after next season, the Aggies will be able to begin recruiting a few new wideouts to join the team, replacing Kendrick Rogers, Quartney Davis and maybe even Jhamon Ausbon.

One of those big names to replace them? Troy Omerie out of Fort Bend Austin in Sugar Land, Texas.

Omeire sits at No. 72 in the nation, No. 15 at his position and No. 11 in the state of Texas. He is quick, also running track, and dependable — as his highlights show. His junior season consisted of 46 catches for 804 yards and 13 touchdowns. Texas A&M marked his first offer on Jan. 27. He has offers from Arizona, Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, Georgia, Kansas, Louisville and Texas, just to name a few.
