4. There is a change happening in Lexington

This team, this program is not the same as it was at the start of 2018 and it surely isn’t the same program that likes to crash and burn right after a 10-win season. The 2018 Wildcats reached 10 wins for only the third time in school history. The Wildcats beat Florida for the first time since 1986. They had a winning record in the SEC (5-3) for the first time since 1977. Beating Penn State in the Citrus Bowl gave them their first New Year’s Day bowl victory since 1952.

I just don’t think Mark Stoops will let that happen, not with the momentum this team is riding coming off that big win in the Citrus Bowl, holding off a comeback from the likes of Trace McSorley and company. Not only that, but finally beating Florida after three decades can bring a big time amount of momentum.

There is change coming in Lexington.

Look out Florida. Look out Georgia.

The SEC East won’t know what hit them if the Wildcats can put together what Mark Stoops has in mind and take control. Simply put? Momentum is real and can bring about some big changes — Kentucky has exactly that.
