1. This team has the offensive depth to replace Benny Snell

It is no secret that Benny Snell is the most productive running back in Kentucky history. During the Citrus Bowl, he earned the all-time career rushing record as a Kentucky Wildcat. Overall, Snell ends his Wildcat career with 14 program records. Let’s break down those.

Snell holds the school record for career rushing years with 3,873 total after a strong effort in the Citrus Bowl at the end of the 2018 season. He has 48 total touchdowns — another record — and 19 total 100 yard games for yet another. He holds the school record for points scored in a season and touchdowns in a season for his effort in 2017 — 116 and 19, respectively.

Oh yeah, add rushing touchdowns in a season (19), consecutive games with a rushing touchdown (6) and rushing yards by a sophomore with 1,333 in 2017.

That is just naming a bit of what Benny Snell has been able to put together, but the point of all that is now Kentucky has to replace all that and their quarterback is a big time question mark at times. What all do they have left to replace him?

A.J. Rose, Chris Rodriguez, Kavosiey Smoke, Sihiem King and Travis Tisdale are available for the running back position. Rose seems to be the logical replacement, with almost 500 yards and five touchdowns of his own this year, but this team has plenty of possible replacements.

B.J. Alexander, Josh Ali, Lynn Bowden, Allen Dailey, Isaiah Epps, Akeem Hayes, Zy’Aire Hughes, Bryce Oliver, Tavin Richardson, Clevan Thomas, Ahmad Wagner, Tae Tae Crumes and DeMarcus Harris will be options at receiver too. That is a lot of names, which tells me that this team has quite the depth to replace the production that Benny Snell put together.
