1. Avoid the historical fall out

Kentucky has one glaring problem that many people that aren’t die-hard Kentucky fans wouldn’t even know about. They have yet to have back to back overly successful season the year after a 10-win year- which hasn’t happened all that often to start with for the Wildcats.

I don’t know if it complacency that has caused it or just the inability to sustain success outside of basketball, but man it has been a struggle. However, it would seem that head coach Mark Stoops already sees something different from his returning players.

“I notice our team, the habits are better,” Stoops said in a recent interview. “We’re cleaner; they saw what it looked like to have success.”

That is important. I truly hope that the Wildcats are cleaner and have found what they need for success — especially with a schedule ahead that favors them as much as theirs does. They have eight home games in 2019 to just four road games. This team has every ability to be successful — they just have to go out and do it now.
