All aboard the Nolan Smith bandwagon before it leaves the station. The incoming freshman and No. 1 recruit in the 2019 class enrolled at Georgia early and you can bet he’s about to see the field a ton in year one.

The Bulldogs are losing Jonathan Ledbetter from one of the defensive end spots after he finished with 56 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and a sack in 2018.

Smith is the kind of recruit who could come in, dominate from day one and make a name for himself on a loaded defense. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he was in the Georgia two-deep after spring concludes and even pushing for a starting spot come fall.

The IMG Academy product stands 6-foot-3 and weighs in at 227 pounds, making him a prime candidate to add a bit of weight to that frame, but he’s already a freak athlete on the defensive line with quickness and explosion off the snap.

Georgia is fortunate to have yet another incoming star on the line and a kid who enrolled early because he saw the opportunity to play right away.
