Texas A&M football has 10 players this season making a push toward the NFL. Where will each of those guys land come NFL Draft weekend in April?

As the first wave of what was Kevin Sumlin’s football team heads out to the draft, the team is left to pick up the pieces. However, before that happens, Texas A&M has a group of draftees waiting to hear their name called on April 25-27. Before we discuss them though, let’s take a look back at 2018 and the Aggies that left Texas A&M a season ago.

It was a very thin 2018 for the Aggies — Christian Kirk going in the second round to the Cardinals, Armani Watts going to Chiefs and Damion Ratley heading to the Browns. The question now is, where will the 10 hopefuls of the 2019 class end up?

Eight out of 10 of them were invited to the NFL Combine.

On the offensive side of the ball, tight end Jace Sternberger and running back Trayveon Williams both had run of the mill, middle of the road performances. And then there was Erik McCoy, the Aggie center who made himself some serious money from the Combine.

On the defensive side, Daylon Mack, Donovan Wilson, Kingsley Keke, Otaro Alaka and Tyrel Dodson were all invited to the Combine.

Landis Durham and Keaton Sutherland, a defensive lineman and an offensive guard respectively, were both not invited, but had good enough seasons to push themselves into draft conversations. On that note, let’s talk about these 10 guys, starting at the top with center Erik McCoy.
