Michigan football had an abrupt ending to last season, but the Wolverines (particularly on offense) have the tools to compete in 2019.
The conclusion of the 2018 season wasn’t too kind to the Michigan Wolverines. Not only did they miss out on both a Big Ten Championship bid and potentially, a trip to the College Football Playoff, but they also lost their final game of the year in a blowout loss to Florida in the Peach Bowl.
The rocky finish to the season is a complete about-face with the way the team had been playing earlier in the season and it definitely doesn’t live up to the standard of the nation’s winningest college football program.
Despite the regression at the tail end of the season, it was the Wolverines’ third 10-win season in four years under the tutelage of head coach Jim Harbaugh.
While Michigan is still embattled in a grudge match with Ohio State on an annual basis, there are still many bright spots to consider in Ann Arbor heading into spring football and eventually, into the 2019 regular season.
