4. Shuffling on the offensive side of the ball

Texas A&M has a few holes to fill on the offense- specifically in the offensive line and in the tight end position. We will discuss both here, starting with an offensive line that has been shuffled back and forth throughout this spring practice session. They are attempting to replace two starters, a center and a guard, who were everyday guys on the offensive line for this team. That is no easy task and with that comes shuffling around to find the right combination of lineman.

All of that being said though, it would seem that a few guys have really stepped up in the eyes of Jimbo Fisher and Co. We look first at redshirt freshman guard Tank Jenkins. He is a big kid, 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds, and has been showing off his size and strength in such a way that he is favored to land one of those spots in September.

Dan Moore and Carson Green continue to improve at the tackle position and if they can keep that up they may lock up their spots too. However, it is that other guard and center positions that you should expect some shuffling at in the spring game.

Speaking of shuffling, look for two tight ends to see playing time at the spring game- Glenn Beal and Baylor Cupp. Beal is the better blocking tight end, that much has been seen at spring practice. Cupp is the better pass catcher, much like what Jace Sternberger put together a season ago. Both will be relied upon in the spring game and beyond for Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies.
