In a crowded PAC-12 North field, Washington football emerged as the conference winners last year. Can they have a repeat showing come 2019?

Head coach Chris Peterson has achieved a reasonable amount of success at the helm of the Washington football program. Since coming over from Boise State and assuming the top job in 2014, Peterson has guided the Huskies to three consecutive 10-or-more-win seasons despite attaining a 1-4 record in bowl games.

At the beginning of the 2018 season, Washington was tested early and fell to an Auburn, who saw its season go awry. However, the Huskies bounced back throughout the season to win the PAC-12 Championship for the second time since the conference championship game was instituted in 2011.

The 2019 season has the makings for an interesting one given the Huskies will likely have to retool its offense after key departures.

In spite of this, Washington still has the talent to compete in the PAC-12. Here are five key storylines to follow this spring.
