UCLA Spring Game 2019 live stream: How to watch online
Chip Kelly and the Bruins have plenty to prove in the 2019 UCLA spring game. Here’s how you can watch all the action live online.
Going 3-9 wasn’t exactly on Chip Kelly’s list of things to do when he took the job at UCLA before the 2018 season. He had been an elite college coach before and UCLA had some talent, so it wouldn’t be that difficult to find early success, right?
Wrong.
The Bruins finished with a third as many wins as they had losses and the team just looked lost through the first two months of the season. On top of that, he was dealing with a tough quarterback situation after Devon Modster’s transfer and Wilton Speight’s injury.
Freshman dual-threat Dorian Thompson-Robinson was thrown into the fire early on and didn’t do a horrible job, but showed that he still has plenty of room to grow. Rumor has it he’s getting pushed for his starting job this spring and that’ll be something to keep an eye on during the annual scrimmage.
Defensively, the talk of the town is the improvement on the defensive line which was a major area of weakness last season. Can this veteran-led group fare better than 15 total sacks in 2019?
