NFL Draft 2019: 7-Round Mock Draft projections for every team
With just a few days remaining until the 2019 NFL Draft, we take a final look at how all 7-rounds might shake out, starting with an in-depth look at round one.
After months of prognosticating about how things might shake out, the 2019 NFL Draft is nearly here.
Teams have spent months poking and prodding at draft prospects, hoping to uncover gems and potential busts ahead of time. The combine, pro days, and pre-draft visits have given prospects ample time to pitch themselves to prospective employers.
Teams are still scheduling last-minute interviews and burning the midnight oil on film study as we come down to the wire. Particularly in the first round, these picks can make or break a franchise. Get a high pick right, and you could make a big leap up the standings in 2019. Get it wrong, and it could be a set-back that ultimately leads to ownership cleaning house in the front office.
The draft is now broken down into three days. The festivities will get started in Nashville on Thursday night with the first round. The second and third round will take place on Friday, and then rounds four through seven will take place on Saturday.
We’ve spent months projecting the first round of the draft, but there are plenty of quality players to be found on the second and third day of the process. There’s always gems to be uncovered, guys who are undervalued throughout the process and immediately make their marks as rookies..
One caveat on these projections: while there will undoubtedly be a multitude of trades throughout the three-day process, I won’t be projecting any here. It would get far too messy to try and project trades in a seven-round process, so this mock will be conducted as if those swaps were not allowed.
Also, at the end of the seven rounds, I’ll have each selection broken down team-by-team to make it easier to consume if you are only interested in a specific team.
