TE. Iowa. Noah Fant. 19. player. 35.

The Titans might be a willing trade partner for a team looking to move up to snag Drew Lock or Daniel Jones. Tennessee only has six total picks in the draft, so this could allow them to add some capital while still probably getting a quality player later in the first round or even the early second.

The Titans have a number of ways they could go with this pick. It probably comes down to an offensive lineman, tight end, or an edge rusher. I think the team will prioritize a weapon for quarterback Marcus Mariota.

Iowa’s Noah Fant is the best receiving tight end in this class with a plethora of skills that make him a nightmare matchup. He’s got excellent speed and a wide catch radius. He’s a tough matchup for any defender covering him thanks to his size and quickness. He should immediately become one of Mariota’s favorite targets.

There’s a lot of uncertainty surrounding Delanie Walker’s future in Nashville. He still has something left in tank, but he’s coming off of a season ending ankle injury and will turn 35 by the time the next season starts.

NC State’s Garrett Bradbury and Clemson edge rusher Clelin Ferrell will merit consideration here as well if they pass on Fant or if he’s already off the board.
