Say goodbye to Stanley Morgan Jr. who finished with 70 catches for 1,004 yards and seven touchdowns in 2018, leading all Nebraska receivers. Say hello to Miles Jones.

The sophomore receiver showed flashes of what he brings to the table in the spring game, catching a few impressive passes and showing an innate ability to run crisp routes. He was targeted eight times, showing that he will be a favorite for Adrian Martinez this fall, catching three passes for 44 yards.

As a true freshman in 2018, Jones had one reception for 21 yards as well as a rush for five yards. He held on to his redshirt and will have four remaining years of eligibility with as high a ceiling as anyone on the offensive side of the ball.

The former three-star wide out from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has plenty of speed and even though he’s not the biggest guy on the field, he can make things happen with the ball in his hands. He showcased his star potential in the spring game and he’s going to be fun to watch in 2019.
