One of the best that NC State has seen in a long time, Kelvin Harmon was an absolute steal for the Redskins in round six. His best season was this past year in which he hauled in 81 catches for 1,186 yards and seven scores. He was the second wide receiver that the Redskins picked up in this draft, the first being Ohio State’s Terry McLaurin in the third round.

Of course, wide receiver depth was a priority for this team who could have a rookie quarterback come September.

“I definitely think I have great game speed,” Harmon told reporters at the NFL Combine. “I play fast, I don’t waste a lot of movement, and I understand leverage on the DBs and how to attack them, so I definitely think my speed is an asset.”

Harmon also commented that he believes that the 50-50 balls become 90-10 balls for him, which is backed up by his highlights. He also is sure to keep the defender from intercepting the ball if he cannot make the catch — which is something that the Redskins need for sure as honestly they don’t have anyone who really makes that happen for them right now.
