NFL Draft 2019: Top 25 prospects available on Day 3
The first three rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft are in the books, but there’s still plenty of talent on the board as we head into day three.
The 2019 NFL Draft has offered plenty of storylines and intrigue with the first two days in the books. Plenty of teams have gotten better with selections in the first three rounds, while others have made some head-scratching decisions that could set them back for years to come.
The draft kicked off on Thursday night with the Cardinals selecting Kyler Murray with the No. 1 overall pick. That signaled the beginning of the end of the Josh Rosen era, and as expected Arizona traded him on Friday night. They weren’t able to recoup the first round investment they made in the UCLA product, instead settling for the No. 62 overall pick in the second round, while also giving up a fifth rounder as well to complete the deal with the Dolphins.
With that pick, the Cardinals selected UMass wide receiver Andy Isabella, a perfect slot receiver for Kliff Kingsbury’s offensive system, giving Murray a legitimate option to grow with.
There were plenty of other intriguing picks on day two, with all of the major first round snubs finally finding out their draft fate. Drew Lock’s slide ended with John Elway trading up in the second round to deliver the Missouri passer to the Broncos. The Browns may have secured the steal of the draft by landing Greedy Williams, the consensus No. 1 cornerback on the board, with the 46th overall pick.
D.K. Metcalf, long considered to be the top wide receiver, saw eight other receivers come off the board ahead of him before the Seahawks ended his freefall with the final pick of the second round.
Plenty of talent came off the board during the draft’s second round, but plenty of talent remains as teams look to fill out their rosters on Saturday and discover some diamonds in the rough.
Here’s the top 25 players remaining on day three of the draft.
