35. . QB. Stanford. K.J. Costello. 10. player

After their respective rookie seasons, it’s crazy to think that a few years later that both the Buccaneers and Titans could be set to move on from Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota after one more year. If Tennessee is picking 10th, that means it took a step back in 2019 and Mariota struggled once again.

In that case, the Titans could be ready to move on, and Stanford’s K.J.Costello is a talented signal-caller who could have been a Top 5 pick in other classes. The 2020 class is just that loaded at the position that the Stanford product could ultimately be the fourth quarterback off the board next year.

Costello completed 65% of his passes last season for 3500 yards and 29 touchdowns. His return to Palo Alto has fans thinking conference title and playoff push, and rightfully so. With Costello back at Stanford, Herbert at Oregon, and loads of talent remaining at the Apple Cup schools, the PAC-12 North will be one of the most fascinating divisional races in 2019.

Costello stands at 6-foot-5 and is the big armed, athletic quarterback much like Herbert that will have NFL teams excited about his long term potential. I think he’s the fourth quarterback at this point, but he could easily jump up the board above a couple of the others with a quality final season at the helm of the Cardinal offense.

If the Titans decide to hang on to Mariota, they might look at adding another offensive weapon to surround him with here. If not, then a quarterback makes sense, and they would likely be happy to land a player of Costello’s caliber at No. 10.
