Notre Dame Football: Post-spring game-by-game predictions for 2019
6. USC (Oct. 12)
What is going on down in sunny Southern California? A total of nine players transferred from USC this offseason, four of which were wide receivers who had legitimate chances of playing in 2019. Furthermore, five-star wide receiver recruit, Bru McCoy, jumped ship from his commitment to the Trojans.
If that wasn’t enough, the Trojans were also unable to hold onto their recently hired offensive coordinator, Kliff Kingsbury. He upgraded and took an NFL head coaching job with the Arizona Cardinals.
So with all of that, it is going to be hard for sophomore quarterback, JT Daniels, to have any success this season. He has a limited number of weapons around him and a coaching staff that has struggled to put their players in a position to succeed in years past.
Although the USC-Notre Dame rivalry is alive and well, this year won’t be especially close.
Final: Notre Dame 31, USC 14 (5-1)
