7. Michigan (Oct. 26)

Notre Dame will have their second real test of the season on Oct. 26, when it travels to Ann Arbor to take on Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines. The Wolverines consistently put together a stout defense and an offense who limits its turnovers. These two characteristics allow Michigan to win the majority of its games.

In 2018, the Irish were able to come away with a 24-17 win against Michigan. However, that game was played in South Bend. Playing at home is likely what gave Notre Dame the edge last season. Having to play the game away may help Michigan take this year’s battle.

The last twist on this game that makes things a little bit more interesting is that Notre Dame will be coming off a bye week. Michigan, on the other hand, will be taking on the Irish a week after they travel to Penn State.

In an incredibly close one, Notre Dame will come away with the win.

Final: Notre Dame 28, Michigan 27 (6-1)
