4. Braden Mann, P

Now, let’s be real here. Braden Mann is not going to be a first-rounder. Punters don’t go in the first round — it just doesn’t happen. However, he is going to find a home with an NFL team and he is going to make that team very lucky as he is one of the better punters in the nation.

His freshman and sophomore years were used as primarily kick off duties. In 2016, he averaged 63.9 yards per kickoff and 72.4 percent of his kickoffs were touchbacks. In 2017, he averaged 62.4 yards on 73 kickoffs and recorded 33 touchbacks.

However, 2018 was his year and there is truly no denying that. He was the winner of the Ray Guy Award, given annually to the nation’s top punter. He was named a unanimous All-American, earned All-America honors from USA Today, CBS Sports, ESPN.com, Sports Illustrated and Pro Football Focus and was named the SEC’s Special Teams Player of the Year.

Mann also broke the record previously held by LSU’s Chad Kessler in 1997. Kessler was the only player to ever have averaged at least 50 yards a punt. Mann broke that after the Gator Bowl with a 51.15 average.

To say that Mann will make a team very lucky in the 2020 Draft would be an understatement.
