3. Kellen Mond, QB

This is the first of three that I assume would be leaving Texas A&M at the end of the 2019 season. With so many guys ready to go behind him and having a third year as a starter in front of him allowing him to build those stats just a little more to get himself to a draftable place. Now, Kellen Mond likely won’t be a first-round quarterback, but he could be a viable backup for a team after this coming season.

Right now, outside of a game and a half this past season, Mond has shown up as a pretty decent quarterback for the Aggies. He showed poise and confidence, especially toward the end of the season, that I am sure Jimbo Fisher likes to see as a head coach.

Look at the Clemson tape, look at the LSU tape or the NC State tape. This is a quarterback who has grown quite a bit from who he was just a handful of months ago. It’s a night and day difference between his freshman year to his sophomore year and junior year promises to be that much better.

Of course, there is still a chance he could chose to come back in 2020, but I just don’t see it happening at this point in time. Look for Mond to leave it all out on the table in 2019 and head out to the NFL in 2020.
