Big 12 Football: Each team’s top 2020 NFL Draft prospect

Kansas State has had at least one player drafted every season since 1994, which is quite the feat for a team who isn’t considered a blue-blood or even a big-time college football program. Reggie Walker continues to forge his own legacy, but he could add to the Wildcats’ at the 2020 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-2 defensive end has pieced together a solid career in Manhattan, too, as he’s recorded 109 total tackles, 29 tackles for loss, and 14 career sacks. He paced the Wildcats with 12.5 tackles-for-loss in 2018 and 7.5 sacks — both career highs — but it still wasn’t enough to push the team over .500.
Walker won’t be viewed like Nick Bosa or Brian Burns from the 2019 NFL Draft class, but there will be a role for him at the next level. He rushes the passer and defends the run both equally well, and if surrounded by better talent, could evolve even further with the right coaching
