Another safety makes the list. First Amir Riep had an impressive spring game as a junior and Jahsen Wint may have gone one step further, out-performing just about everyone on the defensive side of the ball with two interceptions.

While he’s seemingly behind Josh Proctor, Jordan Fuller, Brendon White and Isaiah Pryor on the depth chart at safety, he may have just pushed himself into contention for the two-deep with his spring game performance. He looked the part of a starting-caliber safety at Ohio State, picking off both Matthew Baldwin and Chris Chugunov, showing a knack for reading quarterbacks’ eyes.

Wint played in 12 games as a sophomore, racking up 27 total tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss, but he’s still looking for that first career interception.

After watching him during the spring game, there should be no doubt that Wint is capable of leading the Buckeye secondary at one of the safety spots, showing that the depth back there is off the charts.
