Calvin Jackson, Jr. is a senior wide receiver for the Washington State Cougars. During his first season with the team, the 2018 campaign, Jackson contributed in a reserve role, catching 26 passes for 287 yards and two scores.

He first burst on the scene under coach Jason Brown during Indy C.C.: Part 1 of the Netflix docu-series Last Chance U, and was an integral piece to the offensive attack. As a Pirate, Jackson hauled in 25 passes for 381 yards and a team-high four receiving touchdowns.

Jackson Jr. was overshadowed during his one season on the show by quarterback Malik Henry and wide receiver Carlos Thompson, but he walked away with one of the best football opportunities given to a Last Chance U player — playing wide receiver for head coach Mike Leach.

Leach, of course, is known for his Air-Raid approach to offenses, slinging the ball all over the place. He grew up under Hal Mumme and has carried the philosophy with him to all his stops.
