Alabama football jersey rankings 56-60

No. 56: Tim Williams

Tim Williams was a situational pass rusher. When he was on the team, Alabama had a stable of players on the defensive line that had roles. Williams had the role of getting to the quarterback. He did this very well, getting 20 sacks over four years. As a situational rusher, this is fantastic. He used his first step to blow by blockers and got to the quarterback with more skill than power.

No. 57: Marcell Dareus

Marcell Dareus has one of the most iconic moments in Alabama national championship game history. Against Texas, he got an interception and returned it to the house for a huge touchdown to end the half. He used a flurry of stiff arms and spin moves to get past the offense and return the pick for a score, and this play really embodies Darius as a player. He’s big, but he’s also skilled. He’s hopped around a couple of different NFL teams, but seems to have found his home with the Jaguars. He might have not lived up to the hype of a top-three pick, but he is certainly in the history books of this Alabama era.

No. 58: Nick Gentry

Nick Gentry was another pass-rushing lineman in Saban’s early years. He got 5.5 sacks with the Tide and managed to recover a fumble during his senior season. he didn’t do anything fancy, but he got some valuable playing time in college — enough to win No. 58.

No. 59: Dallas Warmack

Not to be rude, but the thing Dallas Warmack is most known for is being the brother of Chance Warmack. He never earned a starting role as an offensive lineman. After a few years of trying, he followed his former coach to Oregon. He didn’t do much at Alabama, but I hope he can do something for the Ducks this season.

No. 60: Kendall Randolph

I tried, but I genuinely couldn’t find anyone for this number. Once again, I’m choosing the player that is still on the team. If no one has done anything in this jersey, you might as well pick the player who still has a chance to do something in the jersey.
