Alabama football jersey rankings 76-80

No. 76: D.J. Fluker

D.J. Fluker has insane size, but he was positioned at right tackle instead of left. This worked out well for him, as he was great in run blocking on the strong side. In the NFL, he has moved to guard instead of tackle, and it seems to be adding multiple years onto his career with the Seattle Seahawks.

No. 77: James Carpenter

James Carpenter is another stud offensive lineman for the Tide. He surprised a few people when he was drafted so high, but he was a consistent starter for the Seahawks in his original rookie contract. He also started a lot with the Jets, and he is now expected to be at least a rotational player for the Falcons.

No. 78: Mike Johnson

Mike Johnson was a lineman when Saban first started. He was never an amazing player like some others, but he was a key piece for multiple seasons, and he won an All-American designation. For a number like 78, this is truly all you can hope to find. For some reason, it just isn’t a number many want to have.

No. 79: Austin Shepherd

Austin Shepherd was a right tackle. His main season as a starter was when Blake Sims was the quarterback. Now, he plays for the Minnesota Vikings. For an offensive lineman number, it’s all you can truly ask for.

No. 80: Mike McCoy

Mike McCoy was a rotational receiver for Saban’s first few teams. In total, he had 54 catches for 547 yards and three touchdowns in his career. There wasn’t much to choose from, so 547 total yards is a nice option.
