Alabama football jersey rankings 91-95

No. 91: O.J. Smith

Once again, I couldn’t find a good option for this number. Ninety-one just isn’t a clean number to wear. O.J. Smith only played in two games with Bama in his first two seasons before transferring to Minnesota for his senior season. At the end of the day, at least he won a championship with Alabama while he was here.

No. 92: Quinnen Williams

Quinnen Williams is one of the most well-liked people to ever step onto Alabama’s campus. It doesn’t even have to do with his play, which is stellar. There’s just something about Q. He’s always smiling, he’s never down and you can’t seem to make him upset over anything. On the field, he shocked many with his play as a defensive tackle. If I told you a year ago that a defensive lineman went third overall from Alabama, you probably would’ve asked to see Raekwon Davis’s stats. However, Quinnen was just a special player.

No. 93: Jonathan Allen

Jonathan Allen is known as one of the best edge rushers in this modern Nick Saban era. He could sack the quarterback, force turnovers, and even score when he got the ball in his hands. He had both strength and agility as an edge rusher, and that is a very lethal combination. He is one of the many players that now reside in Washington to play their professional ball.

No. 94: Da’Ron Payne

Da’Ron Payne will always be known for what he did against Clemson in the semifinal. Before this game, he mostly plugged up the middle of the offensive line. In this game, he not only made a stellar interception but also got brought in to score a touchdown from a pass by Jalen Hurts. It’s a moment that will define his career, but he did much more than these two plays against Clemson.

No. 95: Darren Lake

No. 95 was a tough choice between Johnny Dwight and Darren Lake. Neither were stars for Alabama, but both played at least some. At the end of the day, Lake played in more games and got more tackles than Dwight, so I gave him the slightest advantage.
