4. player. Pick Analysis. WR. Seth Williams. 842. Scouting Report. Sophomore

There was no more exciting player during Auburn’s spring game that Seth Williams, at least in the receiving corps.

Darius Slayton and Ryan Davis are gone, making Williams the lead returning pass-catcher for the Tigers. On top of the two major departures in the corps, Anthony Schwartz missed time this spring which pinned all the focus on Williams this spring.

The sophomore wide out didn’t crumble under the pressure of carrying the receiving corps. Actually, it was just the opposite as he looked loose and poised to live up to his word in trying to get Auburn to be “Wide Receiver U” — a statement he made earlier in spring ball. He caught four passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns.

Williams was third on the team in receiving last season with 26 catches for 534 yards and five touchdowns but he could have an even better 2019 season. He should be the clear No. 1 receiver this fall and one of the top pass-catchers in the SEC.
