Oklahoma State Football: 5 players trending up after spring 2019
Oklahoma State’s offense is explosive and we probably shouldn’t expect that to change in 2019, especially with C.J. Moore breaking out.
The redshirt freshman has the perfect 6-foot-5 frame to give opposing defensive backs nightmares and he did just that during the spring game. He was a little underweight at 165 pound when he got to campus a year ago, but Mike Gundy has raved about his work ethic this offseason, adding 30 pounds and looking like a valuable pass-catcher.
Obviously Tylan Wallace is the lead returning receiver after taking the Big 12 by storm last season with over 1,400 yards and Dillon Stoner should have a big year, but with LC Greenwood making the switch to linebacker, a door has opened for Moore to rise up the depth chart.
After spring ball, it seems evident that he’s ready to become a star receiver for the Cowboys.
Gundy and even fellow players are raving about Moore and his growth at the position so it’s time to see if it’ll all pay off. If I had to choose anyone who made the biggest depth chart move this spring, it would be Moore.
